The person who died a few days ago drowned in Nido de Aguilas or Punta al Viento.

The unfortunate event of a person drowned a few days ago in an area near Playa Blanca has generated other parallel information, since the beach at that time did have lifeguards and rescue services, an issue that has been questioned.

Noticias Fuerteventura published that the terrible accident occurred on this capital beach, but recognizing the error we realize that the event occurred in another area, south of the old Parador, where there was no such services. We take this opportunity to send our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Sintonia:

The family of the deceased in Playa Blanca will have to wait for the autopsy until Saturday.

Last Tuesday, June 21, a 46-year-old man died after being rescued from the water with symptoms of drowning in Playa Blanca, in Fuerteventura.

Today his family has contacted this media to denounce the lack of a forensic technician on the island, "my brother died on Tuesday and they have not yet done the autopsy, we are waiting because a forensic technician is missing and until Saturday they can not practice it." The family assures that they are "desperate" and that they do not have strength, they only ask for a little "humanity". His only desire is to be able to watch over and bury his relative with dignity.

They have denounced in court the "inhumane" situation and ask "please not to happen to anyone else"

The brother-in-law of the deceased has explained that it is a vacancy that the Government of the Canary Islands has not filled and that it has been available for a long time. So the citizens of Fuerteventura have been dragging this situation for years.

It is something that "can happen to anyone, no one is exempt from death," says the family.
Forensic technicians are the professionals who accompany forensic doctors in an autopsy and are personnel dependent on the Ministry of Justice of the regional government. On the island there are no such professionals so we depend on their travel from Gran Canaria.
