That doesn’t sound at all right Si Tie. Mine fluctuates in real time on the App according to the spot rate 🤔🤔

In answer to the question re AML check - the account is still frozen with no obvious way to contact them. A document was uploaded to show source of funds two days ago.
I guess the one drawback of an online service is the inability to contact a real person. Luckily only a few £s in the account.
Very close to pushing the cancel account button and taking business elsewhere.
The debate on here did contrast the fees of the other service providers such as the banks - two times recently i contacted Sabadell and received an email back from branch within the hour, i don't mind paying a quarterly fee for that service.

If you go into the chat service you initially get a “bot” but can ask to be transferred to a “real” person if problem still remains unresolved. I have found it useful a couple of times

Tried what seems like online chat but no response at all - am i in the correct place ? "Looking for an agent....." is where it seems to direct you.

My screen is similar but has "Chat with us" then "Looking for an agent.....".
Type in question then nothing happens. Otherwise identical to your screenshot.

I think this puts the nail in the coffin for switching totally to these so-called Fintech banks. They can only safely be used as a backup.
How can you possibly bank with someone who locks your accounts for weeks? How are you supposed buy groceries, and pay your bills?? And the Customer Service from
Revolut and
Starling has proven to be below par. Some negative reports online.
I'll just use mine as a casual backup & exchange....maybe

Honestly, I would rather be dealing with frozen online bank account than frozen Spanish account where I would have to provide the proof of being resident in the UK every couple of years.
Don’t know how to quote from two replies on the same post (perhaps you can clarify Sam ?? ) but I can’t say I have ever had any issues with
Revolut, even with the “chat”, any issues resolved straight away. As for Spanish bank accounts, don’t start me off !!! I am trying to get away from mine as we speak !!!

Thanks Sam. I only ever use an iPad, not a PC so not so handy. Never mind, not a big issue just thought I would ask. Rarely need to multi quote 🤣😂🤣😂
