Maritime Rescue has rescued in the last few hours on the Canary Islands route 49 people who were in a rubber dinghy, all Maghrebis, except for three sub-Saharan Africans, and eight of them minors, whom it has disembarked in apparent good health in Gran Tarajal, southeast of Fuerteventura.
The boat was located by the Sasemar 103 and the Salvamar Izar departed to help it, whose crew managed to rescue all its occupants at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, a spokeswoman for the state company confirmed to EFE on Friday.
It is a group of 49 people including three men of sub-Saharan origin, another 35 from the Maghreb, and three women and eight minors of the same origin.
All have disembarked at the Gran Tarajal dock, in the municipality of Tuineje, in good health, as reported this Friday by 112 Canarias.
