Tindaya to Corralejo today, 11am - 2pm.
Driving through Villaverde I saw there was no queue at
HiperDino so I did a quick U-turn and went in to get preferred variety of apples (not stocked at Mercadona). This is the first time that there hasn't been a queue when I was there in the whole of lock down.
Into Corralejo and down the High Street. I passed one Policia Local going the opposite way just outside the town and the a GC car followed me down the High Street. They ignored me parking in the empty taxi rank. Wanted to use the ATM at Sabadell, well, you've heard the term 'hole in the wall', that's just what it was!

There were about 20 people outside waiting to go inside - I'll go back another day.
Through the back streets to see if Popelins (material shop) was open. Big queue outside but I think it was for the fruit and veg shop next door, perhaps it's next week the fabric
shops can open (material & elastic for masks). Drove round a couple of streets to take a few pics.
The wind turbines weren't working.
Drove back up the big outside road hoping to go in Marcial's. The queue was horrendous so I gave that a miss as well. Further up as I got near the new petrol station I happened to notice that the door of La Hondura ferreteria was open - first time I've seen it since lockdown - another quick change of direction, parked right outside, no queue and they had what I wanted, result!
Up to Mercadona, no queue, sanitary procedures slightly changed, you now help yourself to gel from a container on the wall however the push button was so stiff I couldn't work it, had to get the security guard to push it for me! Help yourself to gloves. You only use trolleys from inside, they have already been sanitised. Their stock availability and levels seem to have settled at a 'new norm'. I can see myself getting heartily sick of that phrase very quickly!
Overall there were a lot more people out and about today, mainly with children, although thankfully not in the supermarket. More cars on the road as well. Lots of people waiting at bus stops, most with masks on.
Attempting Ideal in Puerto tomorrow. Anyone know what time they are closing at the moment?
