Every day I look from my balcony and wonder why? In the middle of the golf course on what looks like an intended development site sits a single Villa. Can someone please satisfy my curiosity? Was it to maintain planning permission, a show home maybe?

Which golf course? If its an intended development site they may well plan on using it as the site office?

Jason there are actually 2 villas on that plat of land, the traditional one in your photo and a more contemporary one to the left by the 11th green / 12 tee.  Adolfo informed me Anjoca sold the land to a Chinese business who then couldn't fund the development of the whole plot, he was in re-negotiations with them again about 12 months ago but I suspect with what has happened in the last 9 months that is now on hold. By the way access to that development would be straight ahead as you enter by the Repsol filling station.

Thanks John, good to hear from you, I thought maybe you would have the answer. Seems strange Anjoca sold it in the first place as it seems a great plot.
