I hope you are going to do regular updates Tamara so we can see the progress & the end result. It’s great all the innovations in building techniques these days 😁😁

Ive only seen it used for internal walls (not external).  I don't
think it is temporary because it has window openings

JohnR and I were talking about the beams at an angle being temporary  supports

Very little seemed to happen yesterday but the crane was back today lifting more sections into place. There is now another section with the sloped roof. A ceiling frame has gone in over one third - looks like they are creating a roof terrace.

They started back on the build last week after a couple of weeks break. Couldn't really see any progress last week but today I could see that they have been installing what looks like a damp course:

Two steps forward and one back!

A few days ago they had the crane out and installed some pre-welded RSJs. After a couple of days the crane was back, removed the RSJs, they chopped about 1/3 of the vertical parts off and put them back in again! I think someone had got their measurements wrong  Big Grin . They've also been installing some boards (insulation?) above some rooms/below what looks like being a roof terrace.

Now they have been attaching boards/cladding/insulation, whatever it is. The name on the product is Aquaboard.

As an aside, the lorries have been driving over a piece of ground next to the site and at least once a week the mains water pipe has burst, I'm on first name terms with the guys who man the CAAF WhatsApp line  Big Grin

If the drivers are bursting the water pipe on a regular basis then the companies they work for should be getting fined !!

Yep, partly them and partly CAAF who are cr*p at repairs. This particular hole has had 3 repairs right next to each other in 2 weeks!
