The PSOE wins the European elections in Fuerteventura by less than 200 votes.
The PP practically equals the Socialists, CC plummets by 12% and Vox is the fourth force
The PSOE has won by the minimum in the European elections this Sunday in Fuerteventura, on a day marked by high abstention: only 31 out of every 100 who had the right to do so have voted.
The Socialists have obtained 6,705 votes, with one hundred percent counted, which represented 28.3 percent, somewhat lower than the percentage achieved in the previous European elections in 2019.
The PP has significantly improved its results in the European elections in Fuerteventura, going from 4,762 to 6,513 votes, and from 13.3 percent to 27.5 percent of electoral support. This has left the distance between the Socialists and the Popular Party at less than 200 votes.
The party that has plummeted the most in this election has been Coalición Canaria, which in 2019 obtained 25 percent of votes and this Sunday barely 12.7 percent of support and 3,004 ballots.
On the contrary, Vox has improved its results, with 2,819 votes, 11.9 percent of the total, which represents an improvement of 7.6 percentage points.
The Electors' Association of the ultra Alvise Pérez obtains more than 1,700 votes on the island
As has happened at the state level, the Agrupación de Electores Se Acaba la Fiesta, of the ultra Alvise Pérez, has appeared at the polls in Fuerteventura, which has obtained 1,733 ballots in Fuerteventura, 7.3 percent of the total.
The fragmentation on the left has relegated Sumar and Podemos to the bottom of the electoral rankings: 1,074 ballots for the first party (4.5 percent) and just 739 for the purple formation (3.1 percent).
