A helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands has rescued in Fuerteventura this Tuesday a 17-year-old girl who has suffered a syncope (she fainted) while she was in the difficult access area of Morro Jable, in the municipality of Pájara.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 received the alert at 3:20 p.m. and sent the rescue helicopter to the place where the affected woman was.
At the initial time of assistance, the minor had health problems related to the heat and, after receiving initial attention and being rescued, she was transferred in moderate condition to the helisurface of the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
