Friday 1st May is Dia del Trabajo (Day of the Worker) - public offices, banks and the larger supermarkets will be closed. 

Sunday 3rd May is Dia del La Madre (Mother's Day in Spain).

Tomorrow night is the eve of San Juan. It's the only night when the public can light bonfires (if registered with the Ayuntamiento and rules are adhered to).
