01/01/2023 - 22:30h Canary Islands. - NEW Earthquake-VOLCANIC SWARS IN TENERIFE YESTERDAY AND TODAY HARMONIC TREMOR AND MORE EARTHQUAKES. PLUS THERE IS A SUPERFIT Earthquake IN PALM YESTERDAY, POSSIBLE FELT. - The end of the year and the beginning of 2023 presents the most interesting. The most relevant are the small volcanic Earthquake swarms that we have had in the center of the island of Tenerife, under the boiler, with another moving train yesterday afternoon, a dozen at least on the spectrum, of which has not been l no event, and then there is a lonely deep Earthquake located of 4 seen on the spectrum in the NW dorsal area under Isora Guidance.

Today a new small seismic swarm of clearly volcanic origin has occurred, and so far an Earthquake of magnitude 1.1 to 17km has been located, that is, just in the base area or wall of the magmatic chamber, the deepest part of the m isma or the hand conduit entering through the bottom, indicating a possible small magmatic intrusion.

is2023abddj 01/01/2023 14:42:47 28.2313 -16.7018 17.0 km M 1.1 mbLg NE ISORA GUIDE. ITF

In addition after this Earthquake is appreciated the presence of a harmonic tremor produced by the depressurization of fluids at depth that is marked as several horizontal lines on the spectrum at 2.75Hz and their harmonics at multiples of that amount ad to 5.5 Hz, 8.25 Hz, 11 Hz and a few more.

But this reasoning needs to be confirmed with more parameters, not just seismicity, and evidently deformation presents an upward trend in TN-08 (Teide) and TN-05 (San Jose Mines) in these last days in the vertical component and also in the horizontal component, with a shift eastward on the TN-05.

To see the deformation, go to the address:

and select Tenerife lash and the desired station, which will come out to the right.

From previous days there are some more localized earthquakes, which have gone out to review, and which are located in the area of the Ucanca boiler in the area of magmatic chamber at a depth of 12 - 14 km.

ISLAND OF THE PALM:

On the island of Palma, a superficial Earthquake near the volcanic cone towards the eastern part of the Laguna al Sur of El Paso, by the Tajuya area, which continues to indicate the cooling process of the upper area of the eruption.

Thank you Tamara .

Happy New year to you all.

04/01/2023 - 22:00h Canary Islands. - SOMETHING HAS PUSHED IN TENERIFE FROM DOWN IN THE DORSAL NW BY THE SOUTH AREA OF CHINYERO AND THE PALM IS MOVING WITH A 2.1 UNDER OLD TOP. - Many earthquakes and small ones in Tenerife, although some of the spectrograms are missing, indicate a rise or reactivation of the volcanic system and of course if one looks at the configuration of the efforts of these last three days, they have changed.

The truth is that these efforts have moved west, down the NW dorsal to a point about half a kilometer South of the Chinyero, where the center of what causes it is, which are ascending efforts to 120°, or in other words, mag but pushing it on from down in that area we've had very deep earthquakes before.

The good news is that it's stopping, at the moment it seems to have finished or has been blocked or at least that seems in the last 48h, in Tenerife, because no more activity is located, today nothing at all, although you will have to keep pending, because that of you ner changes can be to stop or move by other losers.

Say that they have reported that last night quite a few movements, soft, have been noticed in the Tegueste area on the island of Tenerife, with lateral and deep component. Only one of these has been located, missing the 0:06 and 0:08 that have not been located yet and must be deep, since only the lower frequencies part is seen. At 2:44 there is another, also deep, unlocated.

Summary of the earthquakes:

The truth is that the Icod area of wines has moved 10-12 km, as it did in 2004 and that is a sensitive area. In addition, the area of Adeje has moved and relatively someroom 5 km according to the IGN. Note that depth data of seismic Events are oversized by 40% and this is because the rock density model that uses the IGN, which affects the seismic speeds of the waves, are less dense s that the IGN use in the model, basically those 5 km, indicate 3 km. And 10 km indicates 6 km).

LA PALMA: Remarkable a couple of movements of 2.1 and 1.9 to 8 km and 9 km respectively deep in the summit area, just at the southern top of the reservoir of Cumbre Vieja, under the Nambroque, which we hope is for cooling and not by pressurization, as there is an upward trend in deformation in the Palma in the west of the island and a downward trend in the east of the island, which would indicate a movement of magma in depth, a process we already knew.

In the effort diagram you clearly see the two centers of action or seismicity, both the Nambroque area and the one of Port Naos.
