Where else do you go for naturist sunshine?

Bahia de Vera and La Menara are, in our opinion, the best urbanisations to rent in. As you said, the great thing is that you can wander naked from your apartment to the beach and back, as well as enjoying lunch naked in one of the many beach bars.

If you're looking at Fuerte again and fancy somewhere closer to the better beaches, you might consider BHH Naturist Villa in Costa Calma. It's 100% nude and has reasonable sunbathing areas onsite. The apartments are OK, but not wonderful. Parking right outside, minimarket nearby, and those wonderful southern beaches almost on the doorstep!

We’ve been down south the last few years, the boss says we’re going to Corralejo next so….. I do enjoy Corralejo too, the place you mentioned I think is possibly a bit isolated for us, reviews were a bit mixed the last time I checked, that was a while ago though

We've also been to SW Crete (to Vritomartis Naturist Hotel, which was terrible) but didn't get out to look at the beaches much as we didn't rent a car there.

We had a very poor experience at Vritomartis. I'd booked a Grand Bungalow but the room we were given didn't match the website's description of a Grand Bungalow. I complained to the reception people, who assured me I had been given a Grand Bungalow. I escalated the complaint and I finally got to talk to the manager, who also assured me I had a Grand Bungalow. So I asked him to look at the website description. He immediately admitted that I hadn't been given a Grand Bungalow, and offered an immediate refund of the extra cost. This left a bad feeling, right at the start of our holiday.

The nearby beach is grim, and is reached by a hotel minibus. You have to pay for sunloungers at the beach, and I was asked to sign for ours, with my room number. At the end of the day, I was told I had to pay cash there and then for the sunloungers, otherwise they wouldn't let us on the minibus. We argued this for a while, I refused to pay cash as I'd already signed to charge it to my room account. Back at the hotel, the manager apologised profusely.

You're certainly right to avoid Vritomartis!
