La Oliva welcomes the Government's decides to begin the process of building a school

The La Oliva Town Council welcomes the Government's decision to initiate the process for the construction of a new Early Childhood and Primary Education Centre (CEIP) in the El Cotillo area. This initiative, the municipal institution assures, responds to a need of the community with a long waiting period. This project would have been possible thanks to the transfer of land by the Town Council of the municipality.
The Mayor of La Oliva, Isaí Blanco, expressed his satisfaction at this important development: “This is, without a doubt, great news for our community. We have been working for some time to provide El Cotillo with the educational infrastructure it needs and this decision is a crucial step. Education is one of our priorities and we will continue to promote projects that benefit our young people and their families.”
For her part, the Councillor for Education, Omaira Saavedra, highlighted the importance of this initiative for the future of the town: “The construction of a new CEIP in El Cotillo will significantly improve the educational offer in the area, allowing our children to access quality education close to their homes. We thank the Government for taking this step and we are committed to collaborating in everything necessary for the project to be carried out successfully.”
The La Oliva Town Council has reported the work carried out to make available to the Government the land necessary for the construction of the new educational centre. With this new infrastructure, it is hoped not only to improve educational conditions but also to contribute to the growth and revitalization of El Cotillo.
