50,000 Canarian residents will be able, through a raffle, to benefit from the tourist voucher -with a value of 200 euros- on their holidays in the archipelago. The draw to be held before a notary will take place on July 15 and the voucher can be used until December 21.

There are two tourist vouchers: accommodation and travel agencies with a maximum balance of 200 euros

In this sense, the Canarian voucher tries to promote vacations in the archipelago for Canarian residents of legal age during the coming summer and also during the months of October to December.

There are two tourist vouchers: accommodation and travel agencies with a maximum balance of 200 euros. The accommodation (25,000 cards) has the condition that the beneficiary contribute another 200 euros more, while the agencies (25,000 cards), the Canarian resident will not have to contribute any financial amount. The card will be physical or virtual.

All residents over 18 years of age will have to register on the website www.somosafortunados.com to be eligible for any of the nominative cards. The formula to achieve one of these bonuses will be through a draw before a notary public, "in order that all participants have the same possibilities," they point out from the Ministry of Health.

The draw will be held on July 14 and on the 15th of the same month the list of winners will be published

Registration on the web can be done during the first two weeks of July. The draw will be held on July 14 and the list of winners will be published on the 15th of the same month. From that moment on, the voucher (maximum one per resident) may begin to be used "both to pay for the stay and to enjoy any other service offered by the chosen accommodation".

People who obtain a voucher will be able to choose between the establishments registered in the General Tourist Registry of the Canary Islands that have adhered to this initiative and that have a POS with an assigned merchant number, in order for the beneficiary to use their card in a presence, adds the Ministry of Tourism.
