50% discount sounds impressive. But don't be fooled! My wife was in there buying wool last week and they were changing all the prices. Quite blatant..stcking the new price straight over the top of the old one.

We went this afternoon and was very very pleasantly surprised   

It is huge, 2 huge buildings, bright, airy, well laid out (could do with a floor plan leaflet), and more importantly the staff are friendly and pay attention to you the customer.

Prices appear good, yes we did buy a few items   

I hope they keep it a s clean, tidy and sorted as it is today, some photos, first 2 show the link between the 2 buildings.

Prices were fair and in line with similar shops, but a lot more choice of products.  They had a range of blow up  mattresses from about Euros 11 - 15 which I haven't seen any here else - no idea of quality as they are in boxes, but could be useful for the unexpected visitor! Nice range of towels of a reasonable quality. Also kitchen utensils, mixers ,liquidisers etc. And as previously mentioned, the staff were very helpful and polite.

Sally says that you can't have enough wool!

I drove past it on the main road tonight and all the car parking spaces are full on the industrial estate and cars are parking on the rough ground/hard shoulder of the main road.

Yes, there is a rear entrance from the parallel road behind.  And there's a cashier at that end too.

I was trying to keep that quite so as to ensure we had parking when we went shopping there.


The rear parking is quite restrictive and there are lots of big commercial vehicles in that area for the other industrial units.


The other better option is park and do your shopping in Mercadona first, leave your car there and then walk out the back to the rear entrance (30 to 40mts) of China Town

We went yesterday, great shop very big with another warehouse at the rear, sell so many different items.

Very good prices, cheap Christmas decorations we picked up tinsel at 0.79 cents each in Corralejo 2.50!

Nobody mentioned this so asking just in case. Does the stock look new (I mean no dust on the packaging, etc) or have they just moved the shop from elsewhere, possibly another island?
