Spain's reported figure for today, likely a new parameter, Efecto Lunes or even Efecto Semana Santa. Tomorrow brings Efecto Martes' concocted figures.
April 13th
2665 new cases and 280 new deaths in Spain [source]

Yes but in the U.K. they don’t include deaths in retirement/nursing homes etc.

Forgive the tardiness in getting this up last night.
Spain's figures for Monday 13th are better than yesterday. Down 663 to 4167 as reported to the WHO. We're still in the 3% bracket along with Italy, comforting to see that the UK has dropped down to 7% from a horrible 12% for Sunday.
And the snapshot.

On the proverbial ball tonight with on the face of it, good news. Spain's figure for today as reported to the WHO is down some 690 to 3477. Spain's lowest figure for new cases since 21st March. This is excellent news bringing Spain into the 2% zone for the first time along with Italy. Nice to see that the UK's figures are 946 lower than yesterday giving them a 5% increase. As always, spreadsheets can be found
here. (Live link)

Spain's reported figure for today appears frighteningly high, the highest since
April 4th.
April 15 (GMT)
6599 new cases and 557 new deaths in Spain [source]
I'm hoping that is some sort of anomaly due to the way figures are reported. I had intended not posting these figures any more because of this. Hopefully the WHO figures later will prove this incorrect.

If correct a very sad, do you not think it is a bit of a catch up from the Easter Holiday weekend, information coming in from remote areas etc.

Hi windermeregolfer, I've edited my post since you quoted. I sincerely hope there is some anomaly which has caused this spike. The way worldometers report, it could be that they've added two days together. I await WHO figures with trepidation.
