Correos Delivery
I recently ordered some lamps (bulbs) from a supplier in mainland Spain.  Very efficient tracking updates. It arrived in customs yesterday, today I get a message to say it can't be processed as it doesn't have a customs declaration.

I emailed the supplier, they replied, but we don't supply the Canaries so we have asked the transport company to return it to us and we are processing your refund.

Beggars belief doesn't it!!

This begs the question why did the supplier's system accept the order in the first place?

Wow, that was quick John. I have used Amazon Germany, some items cannot be delivered from Amazon UK.

I have noticed that there are some items that they will not deliver, but have always thought they are items that are already available on Amazon Es, so they want you to purchase it from there, have never thought about looking for  deliveries  from any other country.

Ok guys this morning the package arrived back in the UK 224 days after leaving there and 90 days after customs told me it was being returned, unsurprisingly only some items are still in the package those which have little or no intrinsic value, 3 items with a total value of £567 have vanished, fortunately it is insured, but you can be assured I will never use Correos again.

I recently ordered a small item from Amazon.de (just over €10) and it was going to be over a month to deliver it. It arrived at Madrid on Sept 2nd. I kept tracking it and it didn't move. Long story short, further investigation revealed that on Sept 2nd the item was returned as the paperwork was not in order (I only discovered after over a month). I got a refund OK and the company said that Correos had changed their system and hadn't told them. I have now ordered a similar item from AliExpress in China (for about one third the cost). Let's see how that one goes.

After giving up on Correos, I thought I would risk ordering something from an eBay seller in Portugal.

The small package with a completed CN22 form and invoice attached took 23 days to arrive. The package was in Spain for 21 of those days. It’s still not great.
