The person was taken out by the 112 about 17 hours this afternoon on the well-known beach in the north of the island.
A person has died this afternoon drowned in the known as Playa del Burro in the area of the Grandes Playas de Corralejo. The emergency services were put on alert to the call received by the beach service personnel.
Upon arriving at the scene, the ambulance staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service confirmed his death while the Civil Guard took charge of the corresponding proceedings.

The alert was received around five in the afternoon, when the 112 was informed that the beach service personnel had taken the body of a person out of the water.
