Due to the cancellation of the sixth edition of FRF 2022 scheduled for September 23 and 24 in Tindaya due to the Weather, the organization of theVI Fuerteventura Reggae Festival 2022has decided to prepare a more welcoming version of the festival for next Friday, November 18 in the Public Square of Lajares, even with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture of theCabildo de Fuerteventuraand the Department of Culture of the City Council of La Oliva, but also with the collaboration of the Department of Celebrations of the City Council of La Oliva, which has offered a space and a space in the program of the Lajares festivities to celebrate the sixth edition of this event.
 
In the last two years the FRF was one of the few regional festivals that maintained the commitment to musical culture despite the global circumstances and that has become a benchmark and one of the largest reggae music festivals in the Canary Islands, with which the organization was obliged to celebrate its sixth edition this year whatever it may be, since, as they move, "if COVID did not prevent us from celebrating theFuerteventura Reggae Festivalto date, neither was a cyclone".
The lineup will be made up of some of the reggae music representations of the island scene. Next Friday, November 18, the programming will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a talk on territorial awareness by Aceycele Chacón and Pedro Hernández.
From 20:00 hours, and entertaining the changes of concerts, the music of Bio Selektah will sound.
On the stage of the Plaza de Lajares we can enjoy the concerts of: 'David Mahoh and Dj Keroi', 'Palmera Rebelde' and 'Rabadaba Collective'.
The event will be totally free and oriented for all audiences.
