They rescue by helicopter a man with semi-drowning on the beach of Cofete.
At 12:55 hours, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was communicated that they had taken out of the sea a bather who presented symptoms of drowning on the beach of Cofete, in the municipality of Pájara. Immediately the 1-1-2 activated the necessary emergency resources.
Other people who were in the place gave the first attention to the affected person following the indications provided, through telecare, by a nurse coordinator of the Canary Islands Emergency Service present in the operating room.
Later, the personnel of the medicalized helicopter of the SUC, which landed on the beach, assessed and assisted the affected person who, once stabilized, with symptoms of moderate semi-drowning, except for complications, was transferred in the aircraft to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
