The GES helicopter rescues a hiker injured after falling into the crater of a volcano in Fuerteventura, in the area of Calderón Hondo, municipality of La Oliva on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 around 4:26 p.m.

- A 24-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of care, presented a moderate lower limb trauma, rescued by the GES helicopter and transferred to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.

- Extinction and Rescue Service of La Oliva

- At the time indicated above, an alert is received at the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands communicating that a person had fallen into the crater of a volcano and that he needed health care.
- The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
- The GES helicopter located the wounded and proceeded to rescue him. Once immobilized, he transferred her to the aforementioned hospital.
- The Firefighters and the Civil Guard collaborated with the GES in the rescue tasks.
