Firefighters rescue an injured man in La Playa de Los Ojos, at the tip of Jandía.
A 25-year-old man was rescued by firefighters at Los Ojos Beach, south of Fuerteventura this afternoon. At the initial moment of the assistance, he presents a moderate head trauma, transferred by ambulance of basic life support to the Point of Continuous Care (PAC) of Morro Jable.
Around 4:00 p.m. the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was communicated that a person had suffered a fall in an area of rocks on the aforementioned beach and needed health care.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Firefighters immobilized the affected person and rescued him from the area in which he had fallen.
The SUC personnel evaluated and assisted the injured man who was transferred in the corresponding ambulance to the aforementioned health center.
The Local Police collaborated with the emergency services in the resolution of the incident.
