Went and downloaded only my Certificate on my Samsung S7 Tablet and I was then able to log in to my Ayuntamiento details no problem, so my question is can you only have one certificate on any one device?

Did you install the certificate into your browser, Edge? It is not just a case of downloading, you need to install it. The method is slightly different for different browsers. Suggest you Google 'install Digital Certificate in XXXX Browser ' There are loads of tutorials on YouTube.

If you get stuck, send me a private email and give your phone number in it please.

Tom.

And MOST importantly, make a copy onto a USB stick, password protected, and save that stick somewhere very safe.

Thanks guys for the tips and advice appreciated, and I have securely saved the details in 3 or 4 places.

So far I have got our digital certs loaded into the Edge Browser ok and I have been able to get on to my data on the Ayuntamiento de Antigua site ok but when I go back log out and go back into look at Elaine's details it automatically logs into my account / details, it doesn't give me a choice of which certificate to use, any thoughts?

Yes John, once you log in on one Digital Certificate, it remembers it for a period of around half an hour or so. You can get around it by opening an incognito tab, or just wait an hour until it has forgotten you.

Yes, copy the certificate to your other device or devices and then follow the routine to install into your Web browser (different browsers do it slightly differently), loads of advice on YouTube.

Our certificates are on a desktop pc, two laptops, two tablets and two phones.

Tom.

PS. Do remember to keep a spare copy off line, eg on a USB Stick stored somewhere very safe and also remember to keep your password somewhere safe, but separately.

Issue your Digital Certificate at the Chamber of Commerce.

Digital Certificates are used to identify individuals and legal entities in private and business environments with which to access electronic signature applications

The Chamber of Commerce of Fuerteventura issues interested users Camerfirma digital certificates, which authenticate the identity of their bearer, and allow them to carry out a multitude of procedures with institutions such as Public Administrations or banks.

This tool allows the user to authenticate themselves in the electronic headquarters of Public Administrations such as the AEAT, the SEPE, Cabildos and City Councils. In addition, a multitude of procedures can be carried out through it, such as the change of tax address, the payment of taxes or the processing of subsidies, as well as procedures with banks.

In addition, it provides an official and valid signature for all types of institutions.

To prove the identity of the user and to be able to issue the certificate correctly, interested parties must request an online or face-to-face appointment at one of the offices implemented in the network of collaborators. In Fuerteventura, there are six of these headquarters, such as the office of the Tax Agency, the Government Delegation or the Island Youth Centre of the Cabildo, as well as the chamber facilities.

The Chamber of Commerce of Fuerteventura has the service of issuing digital certificates, for all those interested users, who can make an appointment in person or online for the procedure through the email: info@camarafuerteventura.org.
