We discovered that we need to renew our Padron certificates every two years - so we are well past this. We have TIE's under the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement with protected rights.
We live in Caleta de Fuste, and wondered how to renew it? Do we just turn up at the little town hall here, or do we need to make an appointment? If so, how?
Does anyone know what paperwork is needed and any advance photocopies?
Thank you in advance for any help!

We just turned up with TIE.Took our passports just in case but not needed.
You could say you never received a reminder IF they query things.

Worth everyone noting that post-brexit we Brits need to renew every two years, not the 5 years thar applied to EU citizens.
Also worth knowing that if you get a
Digital Certificate to install on your computer, laptop, tablet or phone, you can access the padron and travel Certificates and print your own, as well as having access to many other official government websites.
Search the forum for Digital Certificates and you will find step by step guide to how to get them (but some of the information may be out of date).

Just to outline my experience getting our Padron certificates this morning (Tuesday 1
October). I went to Caleta town hall shortly before 08:00 and found a small queue of two ahead of me. The door was opened a few minutes later. I took our passports, TIEs , previous Padron certificate and evidence of where we are living.
The lady clerk does not speak English, but when I told her I wanted to renew the Padron and gave her the old one and passport and TIE she understood my poor Spanish!
She checked passports, TIE's and a quick glance of proof of address. She did say she needed to see my other half, but when I started to call her, the clerk told me not to bother but she would have to see her the next time.
All processed in a couple of minutes. No appointment needed -just join the queue.
Hope this takes the mystery out of it.
