Padron - Ayuntamiento

Not sure about that David. I was specifically told, 'remember to renew again in 5 years' when I was in the Ayuntamiento the other day.

I tried to go in via the electronic office as suggested by Tamara.
It would not accept either my old electronic key or the new one.
Tried to get a Clave and was told I do not qualify.

Tamara Did you get any documentation when you went in, or just a renewed "Padron"

Just a new style Padron cert David. It's very computer style with no stamp or official signature.

Life expectancy of "Padron"
A couple we know, the lady is German (EU) has to renew hers at 5 year intervals.
The man is Swiss (not EU)   and has to renew at 2 year intervals!

I have a paper cert dated April 2021 BUT my "REGISTRO DE ENTRADA " is dated Dec 2018.
So looks like a trip to La Oliva for me as well.

Interesting Chat in La Oliva
Because we are from UK IF we registered today we would have to re register in 2 years.
HOWEVER because we re-registered in 2018 and the UK was in the EU at that time then we have to register 5 years after that one and then every 2 years thereafter.

Re disappearance of being able to download Padron from personal computer I lost the thread but there were a lot of Faltas repeated,and I dont know if they were saying that the Padron is not needed as much if you have a TIE or if it was a temporary glitch.  I thought you still needed them for some transactions.

Everybody was having a good laugh at my struggles so I mentioned viajes.
The Lady said OK no problem, I foolishly said my TIE is temporal. Big OH.(though I am sure it would have been noted in the processing)
Policy of La Oliva : There is no way to distinguish between a 1 year temp,2 year temp or 5 year temp even if it only has 1 year before it can be swapped for a long term.
Therefore at this time ALL temporal TIES will be treated the same.

Now mentally drained and need a siesta,but I still love FV

After my visit to La Oliva I have retried to access via the electronic office as per Tamaras guidelines.
Previously it would not let me in. 
However like Tamara this time I managed to get the 3 pages showing:-
I was able to downloaded a very fancy new Padron which actually stated that my first registration was Jan 2015
The historic thing just showed Error even though my name and NIE were showing on the first page.
Viajes Nobody known at that address!!! even given that first registered in Jan 2015?
