The firearm of the alleged perpetrator of the attempted robbery in Puerto del Rosario was simulated.

Agents of the National Police have arrested in Puerto del Rosario a 25-year-old man, with numerous Police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence. The arrested man threatened the victim with a firearm while making a cash deposit at an ATM. The National Police officers were able to intercept the author and verify that the weapon concealed in his clothes was simulated. In addition, according to what was transferred by the National Police, in the transfer to Police stations he threatened the Police officers.

 

Yesterday, February 15, in the morning, the notice was received in the 091 telephone room of an attempted robbery with a firearm at an ATM on León y Castillo Street in the capital of Majorera.

The agents of the National Police quickly went to the scene, finding in the place the victim who told them that moments before he was making a cash deposit at the ATM, when a young man approached him and threatened him with a gun requesting the Money. Finally he managed to get away from the aggressor by fleeing the place and giving the notice to the National Police.

With the physical characteristics provided by the injured party, the agents managed to intercept the alleged perpetrator in the vicinity and after the security search, a pistol that turned out to be airsoft was located on his clothes.
For all these reasons, this person was arrested for a crime of robbery with violence, being placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority
