Pueblo Majorero Development at Fuerteventura Golf Club
Went into the office today and then over to take a look at the development. Tamara is still saying end of Feb for building work to be completed. I can see progress since we were over 7 weeks ago, plenty of landscaping work ongoing. However block 3 looks like it still needs a lot of work. Im no builder but 10 weeks seems optimistic. She said they would have a better idea the closer they get to completion. To me that suggests they don’t really know for sure. Most north facing ground and top floor apartments are for sale still.

Hi to all on this thread.Just like to say a big thank you to all who share updates and photos of the site progression . We get very little by way of updates from builders so this thread is invaluable.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and peaceful New Year.

We have been told by Tamara works are due to be completed the end of Feb but it will take 5 weeks approx to get the legal side complete before the apartments/villas are ready to be signed over. So it looks like early April per the email we received.
We are planning to come out the end of March/ early April for a few weeks to get ready to start buying furniture etc. Unfortunately as it is around Easter and school holidays flights are expensive in April 😣

All the best
Nicola

Hi Nicola ,I have heard the same building works due to finish end Feb ,then it’s a matter of the granting of the habitation certificates before people can move in . Builders are estimating 5 weeks but don’t forget the length of time it took for the crane permits early on in the build .
I have booked for end of April and hope all will be clear by then.
BTW , builders have not officially confirmed the completion date it’s only word of mouth.

Derry/Nicola,  we too were told 4 weeks for permits and are expecting to sign deeds when we are over early April. We were told to expect updates nearer to completion, have you now had recent updates from Anjoca? Last communication for us was when we were over just before Xmas. Our solicitor has power of attorney should we not be able to sign in person and we have met with a couple who run a property management business who will assist us with furniture etc.

Hi Jason

We have had no updates on completion dates from Anjoca ,just had a mail from a friend who is over there at minute in relation to the completion date.
Officially we have never had any statement on completion dates from the builders, only a vague mention from Tamara when we were over in October that it may be end of February  .
Kitchen fitter was supposed to be fitting our kitchen mid Jan if that gives any indication of timeframes.
We are in last block due to complete .
We are over in a couple of weeks and have asked to go and see our apartment so will have a better idea then.

We have been in touch with Tamara just about some of the changes we have made and she informed me of the completion and expected handover date as part of that. I received the update on Thursday last week. We were over for a week for New Year and workers were on site while we were there. We didn’t look around the apartments as we just looked at our place but the whole complex is looking really well.

We bought a few of the bigger bits for the house and they are holding them until April for us. I really liked the stuff in Nortysur which is near Electron in Rosario. Also Royal Kookabura has lovely stuff but are little more pricey.

Really looking forward to meeting all our new neighbours so keep in touch and maybe we can arrange a meet up!
