Two minors were moderately injured after being run over in Fuerteventura.The incident occurred on Avenida Manuel Velázquez, Puerto del Rosario, around 15:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18.
Assessment of those affected provided by the Canary Islands Emergency Service
Minor, 8 years old, who at the initial moment of assistance presents head trauma and moderate polycontusions, transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
Minor, 6 years old, who at the initial moment of assistance presents head trauma and moderate polycontusions, transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
Services activated by CECOES 1-1-2:
Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC): medicalized ambulance and basic life support ambulance and Local Police
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which they reported the running over of two minors by a motorcycle at the address mentioned above.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The SUC staff assessed the two minors and after carrying out the initial health care proceeded to transfer them by medicalized ambulance to the hospital.
Finally, the Local Police instructed the corresponding attestation.
