Give Pluscar.es a look, same service as others, no hard sell of extras. No office inside the terminal, you meet them in the car park at a designated space.

To be honest the car hire prices here are cheap! Not as cheap as they used to be, but still!
Look at hiring a car in the UK with full insurance and zero excess and you are talking close on £1000 for a fortnight!

I've just booked for May with PlusCar - about €170 for 9 days. Also have a car booked in mainland Spain for 14 days in June - that's nearly €700, so island pricing is cheap!

Don't know about your latest experiences, but last 2 years the cheapest cars at Pluscar got worse + more expensive.
Longing for the dented Fiat Panda's, high on it's wheels for no Money, without fuzz (like a radio that only works on Bluetooth or keys on way too low batteries, etc). Just the basics, which should function, which seems a lot to be asked these days.
