The Civil Guard of the Fuerteventura Airport Prosecutor's Detachment has arrested, on the afternoon of February 14, three people from ONNA, JDTN, NCS, of 52, 30 and 58 years respectively and all of foreign nationality, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health by carrying each of them 1,060 grams of cocaine arranged in different capsules that were attached to the body of the detainees, seizing a total of 3,180 grams of cocaine with these arrests.
The Civil Guard agents, in the framework of their crime prevention work, identified the referred passengers from the same flight from Madrid, since they aroused the suspicions of the same due to their apparent nervousness.
For this reason a surface survey and registration was carried out, checking how these three people carried different plates and pieces hidden under their clothes and attached to the body, in which after carrying out the appropriate narcotest test it was possible to verify how each passenger carried 1,065 grams of cocaine.
Therefore, the Civil Guard proceeded to the arrest of these three people for a crime against public health, in particular for drug trafficking, which could intervene a total of 3,195 grams of cocaine.
The detainees were placed this Friday at the disposal of the corresponding Court of guard of the locality of Puerto del Rosario.
