Very disappointing! Visited today and found it unfinished, grubby and untidy. 2 areas of the shop were being painted around the customers. Floor rugs in display settings were already curled up at the edges ready to catch browsers unaware. Customer toilets, although plentiful, were smelly and leaking! Don't think they've done themselves any favours with this new showroom.

Yes, we visited the other day and were disappointed as well, even down to,unfinished concrete floors!
They do have a bigger range of items on show but I do think they have missed a trick here by not opening a proper store.
I don't really see the point unless they are going to display ALL goods.
I, possibly like most other people who don't live here permanently, always do my viewing in a UK store then just order online on the Fuerteventura store website. Otherwise it's still going to involve a trip to Lanzarote.

To be an outlet that stocks all products for purchase and collection they would have needed to expand into the next two to three retail units at least, and maybe at the back as well. If you look at the size of the Ikea warehouses in UK they are immense with parking provision in proportion.

Wasn't really meaning THAT BIG, the one in Lanzarote is much smaller than UK stores but still possible to get most things. It's over 2 floors, I just wonder how much bigger the footprint of the Lanzarote store is than Fuerteventura.

Google Earth has a measuring tool. I reckon that the Lanzarote shop is approximately 100M x 50M. It’s on 2 floors, so the total area is about 10,000 square metres. This excludes the car park.
I agree 100% with Tamara and Decho's comments.
They really need to do something about the concrete floor. It's very unhomely.
Parking is not as good as the old store.
Just a theory....perhaps they had to to vacate the old store by the end of last year, hence the rushed/unfinished look of the new one.

I know it would have increased costs so it would be an economic case to see if it would work but I personally think they should have extended the original store to the full current new size, made the new bit all stock storage/warehouse & refitted the old building as all display. Obviously they would still only be able to display & keep stock of the main selling lines but everything else could still have been to order. Just saying

Men were preparing to put up new facia cladding on the outside this morning when I drove by.

We have made two orders online over the past 2 weeks.
Both orders have been available at the Fuerteventura store in 2 days.

Captain. Glad your order worked out. Mine took 7 days and then the line in the store was unbelievable. 40 minute wait.

We have generally on had to wait less than 10 mins.
