Re photo easiest is just down the road from the policia offices,and as Tom says tell them what it is for and you are guaranteed the right size.
Yes I was given back my Temp TIE.
At the pick up appointment Bring passport,+ temp TIE(I assume they will take it then) and I think she said my padron,plus the note she gave me
Pick up is in 45 days which I am sure it was the last time,but I will leave it a bit longer.

Excellent DavidP, I'm gonna book our appointments and hopefully be as successful as yourself, watch this space. On form 790 code 12, do I tick TIE that documents the authorization for long-term residence or long-term residence-EU. 21.8€

I ticked the bottom option in the left hand column:-"certificado de registro de residente communitario o............"
on the basis that we were in the EU when we first applied and this is a continuation.
Price 12 Euros (same as the first time)

Tamara:- Should this be under second year TIE renewal or moved to a different heading for clarity.

Thanks DavidP all makes sense, still trying for the appointment, nothing available, I guess it was the National Police staion on Avenue Juan de Bethencourt that you went to.

Its Calle Herbania which is off Juan bethencourt.
It took 3 or 4 tries on different days to get an appointment with no success then suddenly there were dozens available.
