The Civil Guard of Fuerteventura immobilizes a plane with falsified documentation
#1
Radio Sintonia:

The Civil Guard of Fuerteventura immobilizes a plane with falsified documentation.

The Civil Guard of Fuerteventura, has identified a 64-year-old person and pilot of an aircraft, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of Falsification of Public Document by manipulating the data of an airworthiness review certificate in order to evade the controls of the Spanish authorities in aviation safety, and to be able to sell the aircraft in third countries, possibly in Africa.

As a result of
the specific work carried out by the Fiscal and Borders Section of Fuerteventura airport, during the afternoon of 14 February, an aircraft from an aerodrome in Gran Canaria was inspected.

As a result of the Police collaboration, the Civil Guard of Gran Canaria airport warned of possible irregularities in its documentation and that the State Aviation Safety Agency requested collaboration for the interception of it and verification of the available documentation.

Interception of the aircraft
After analysing the corresponding information, the Civil Guard of Fuerteventura airport identified the pilot of the aircraft, who, among other documentation, handed over the allegedly falsified document of the "Airworthiness Review Certificate".

In the first check, the documentation provided gave a legal appearance, however, and due to the attitude of the pilot and his haste to leave, since he wanted to leave as soon as possible to continue his flight plan, it was sent to the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).

The evidence collected by the Guardia Civil was confirmed by the content of the letter sent by "AESA" requesting the Guardia Civil of Fuerteventura Airport to adopt extraordinary measures for the aircraft in question, since they had been able to verify that the documentation presented had been tampered with.

Immediately, the Fiscal and Border Unit of Fuerteventura airport proceeded to immobilize and seal the aircraft in question, trying without success to locate the pilot to inform him of what happened and proceed to the adoption of the corresponding extraordinary measures requested by AESA.

As a result of what happened, the Guardia Civil requested a technical report from AESA for a better clarification of the forged document, in order to know the criminal authorship on the part of the pilot, by manipulating the aforementioned "Airworthiness Review Certificate" to be able to continue his journey to a third country and avoid the relevant controls of the Spanish Air Authorities on the piloted aircraft.

All of this was confirmed in the technical report issued by AESA, where they effectively confirm the existence of sufficient evidence to consider the document as "forged", and may even have used documents from other aircraft.

For all these reasons, the appropriate proceedings were carried out charging the pilot of the aircraft with the crime of Falsification of a Public Document, which were sent to the Court of Instruction of the Guard, corresponding to those of Puerto del Rosario, leaving the plane at the disposal of AESA as it was the authority that required the seal.

I wondered why that plane had been parked so long near the expounded drugs plane.
