The perpetrator of the robberies in a hotel complex in Fuerteventura arrested.

The Civil Guard of Morro Jable was aware of Events that occurred as a result of several complaints between the end of April and August 2024, in which the injured people, mostly tourists, reported that during the night while they were sleeping, the alleged perpetrators entered their apartments stealing Money, electronic devices (mobile terminals) and watches, as well as other personal belongings, as well as Money.

The Police investigations carried out by the Civil Guard made it possible to identify the alleged perpetrator through images and photographic recognitions carried out on witnesses who identified him without any doubt, resulting in the arrest of the person and thus preventing the commission of more criminal acts in the town.
It so happens that the person arrested has numerous records for crimes against property, including similar Events that occurred in hotel complexes in the town and having been arrested for such acts on two previous occasions; one in June 2023 for flagrante delicto when he tried to enter one of the rooms and another in March of this year.
The detainee, together with the proceedings instructed for this purpose, was at the disposal of the Acting Court of Guard of Puerto del Rosario, continuing the Civil Guard with the investigation to recover the stolen effects, which is why new arrests for these actions are not ruled out.
