The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted a 19-year-old man who was seriously injured after falling from the third floor of a hotel complex in the Majorero municipality of Pájara in the early hours of Sunday, 112 reported.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert at 1:57 a.m. in which they reported that a person had fallen, for unknown reasons, from a third floor of the hotel establishment and needed medical assistance.
The 112 sent a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance to the scene, as well as members of the Local Police and the Civil Guard.
The SUC personnel assessed and assisted the injured man who, at the initial moment of assistance, had polytrauma of a serious nature.
After being stabilized, the young man was evacuated to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura, where he was admitted in critical condition.
