#21
I'm not aware that you need photos for your green card, mistakenly called the residencia (it's a certificate to say you are an EU citizen) unless things have changed very recently.

Tom.

Hi Stewart,

Yes, you need an empadron but it could be issued the day before you apply to the Police station for your certificate of being an EU citizen.

Just a bit of info:Went and got my wife's" residencia" this morning.
Needed to make an appointment (cita Previa) by telephone No 928 856 282.
Appointment the next day, paid 790 rapidly with cash at local bank. told the policeman outside we had an appointment.wait, then 5 minutes another chap came out checked our name and in we went.
5 minutes back out with green card.
To back up C.Tom no  photos needed, also only first two pages of EX18 required

Re Tarjeta sanitaria.
Where can I get a plastic version, the machine in corralejo seems to be permanently broken.
How do you get the 6 letter code to use to make on line appontments.
Thanks

The plastic card will be issued by your medical centre, and the 6 figure code is on the back.

To "stewart" yes new rules applicable from June 4th implemented  on June 11th. Actually much better than when I did mine and just queued.

To Spitfire The cost is still 12 Euro the number 790 is the number of the form to fill in to pay the fee.

To Johnrgby Thanks I thought that should be the case but when ever I ask in Corralejo at 6 monthly intervals  the machine is always broken.
When (if) life becomes a little more normal I think I will ask if I can have the 6 figure code from their computer,or possibly try  the admin in PR  main hospital.
