Paying non-resident tax

I do mine with SpanishTaxForms -I am no good at mathematics!!!!  They have just increased their fee to £34.95 ( From £29 ish) but it is hassle free, very quick, they send you the forms by email already completed from the info you give them.  Then just go your local bank in Fuerte to pay the actual tax before December 31st.

The attached might help....
Follow the link....
https://www2.agenciatributaria.gob.es/st...2100b.html

Try it and compare the output with last years....and don't worry its not actually doing anything other than checking its correct and producing a PDF for you which you take to the bank and pay in cash.
When you have joint ownership, do it for one person, create the PDF, then just change the name, DOB and NIE number for the second and do it again.

We do ours that way as well although we actually get them to pay it for us. Saves a lot of hassle when only there a small number of wks each year & as Emmi says, we know it’s done properly & stress free. Worth the £45(ish) it was this year tbh

Many thanks for the replies. I will use the info to see if I can get my head around doing it myself, otherwise I'll try the suggested contact. I wanted to use Spanish Tax Forms, great value, but they tell me they are taking no new clients during December. That will teach me to leave it so late!

I have written some step by step instructions on how to make your Non-Residents Tax Forms and I've also set up an Excel Spreadsheet to help with the actual calculations.  However, I am unable (atm) to upload these to the forum.

I've asked for some help in how I can upload a Word document and an Excel spreadsheet and hopefully, I should be in a position to upload these soon.

Tom.

I forgot to say, that Spanish Tax Forms can also pay the tax to the Hacienda on your behalf, should you not be in Fuerte to do it yourself at the bank.

Thanks to the assistance of the Forum Management, you should now see two files attached to this message.

The first is a word document that sets out a simple step by step guide to filling in your Form 210 for making your Non Residents Tax Return. The second is an Excel spreadsheet which will help you with the calculations.

Hope this helps .

Tom.

Interestingly, when we bought 13 years ago,our Solicitor, Glex and Co,didn’t want to know about paying this tax and setting anything up for us.
The tax at the time was discontinued after a few years and replaced by the current system.
As I have said never had any problem not paying this tax.
Also when we do sell, quite happy to have a clean break from our Spanish Bank and their Charges, rather than keeping an account open in the hope of eventually getting a refund from the tax payments.

Hi Dave my bill for the 2 of us is more than 3 times your total. This was based on the value direct from the town hall
