  Restaurante Brasero - Tarajalejo
Posted by: windermeregolfer - 04-12-2018, 08:39 AM - Forum: Bars & Restaurants - Replies (5)

Mid afternoon Sunday lunch 2/12 a real treat and great value for Money.

We dined with 2 friends shared 4 starters then had 2 mixed grilled meats between the four of us served with grilled red pepper and fries followed by the house chocolate tart. A large beer, a bottle of Lanzarote white wine and a bottle of Rioja as drinks and then 4 very large shots.  Bill came to 94.75€.

Friendly service and what impressed us was the number of locals using the restaurant.

Good parking, clean loos, next time choose a table with chairs rather than the hard benches which are novel.

The Moscow Ballet are performing The Nutcracker at the Auditorio Insular (the old theatre) in Rosario on 12th December at 9pm.
Tickets still available on the Ballet de Moscu main website.

EDIT: Changed the title so I can add this year's (2019) details in the same thread, rather than creating a new one each year. Sam.

I've just discovered there is currently an exhibition by the Corralejo Camera Club members in El Toston (the real one, not the bar!) which is due to finish at the end of the month. So 2 days to get there! Anyone visited already? Apparently its been on for 2 months at a time, twice this year.
Free entrance, photos of Fuerteventura. I don't know the opening times.

Cirque du Soleil will be in Grand Canaria from July 5th till August 4th next summer. We booked our tickets on line -- as residents the travel will be cheap. Possibly a good Christmas present if you're stuck for ideas  Smile Smile

  Verdeaurora Bio Farm
Posted by: Mia - 23-11-2018, 09:28 PM - Forum: Things to do on the island - No Replies

One of my favourite places to go in Fuerte is Verdeaurora Bio Farm. With a new management it is even better as it was before. The staff is so nice and helpful always happy to chat and explain everything regarding the farm and things related to Fuerteventura. I have never tasted better olive oil than the one made in this bio farm. There is a nice selection of cheeses, olives, jams for tasting... they even do smoothies and coffee. As well you can buy a big selection of Aloe Vera products, from pure aloe to creams, lip balm, gels and many other cosmetic products.
They as well have pomegranate trees and they always allow as to take a couple of pomegranates for FREE Smile

The farm is located in a beautiful scenery, you can have a stroll along the olive tress and aloe plants and they have adorable toilets Poop

Address: Tenicosquey, 7, 35630 Malpaís Grande (Antigua)

Have you been to this farm or do you have any recommendation for a different one on the island?
