Just wondering how noticeable the widely publicised anti tourist demonstrations are impacting the nudist beaches of the Canaries?
From what I'm seeing reported, the demonstrations are mainly in the heavily populated all inclusive tourist areas, so probably not noticeable in the more remote areas nudists tend to go.
Anyone got a recent experience
Cheers

This seems to be a somewhat overlooked tourist destination among the British. We were the only Brits up there on our visit last week as far as I could see. I must admit that on viewing the accent, I almost said 'sod it' and turned back. The road is tarmac, so legal for hire cars, but is narrow, steep and twisty. Passing places are hard to spot on the accent, so you are dependant on drivers coming down, playing the game and giving way to you as they have a much better view of the road.
The view from the top makes it worth the effort and the light hose is free to look around. The wind is very strong, especially from the wooden viewpoint, and we went on a calm day.
Would recomend the trip

I have some unwanted kitchen knives to be dumped, I don't want to simply chuck them in the bin, does anyone know of any procedure about handing them into the Police. I don't want to walk into a Police station carrying knives as my Spanish isn't great and I might end up in the jail.

Hi All
Not long to go now before our next visit and I am looking for locations that we have never done.
Has anyone used the beach at Mal Nombre in front of the Tierra Dorada restaurant / beach bar? It looks like you need a slightly happy go lucky attitude with respect to your hire car, but looking on street view, quite a lot of people go down there.
Question. is it worth the effort from a naturist viewpoint?

I believe there is a walk from Costa Calma across the narrowest part of the island to La Pared. Measuring it on Maps it appears to be about 4.5 miles. Has anyone done the walk? I’m just trying to ascertain what the terrain is like and roughly how difficult the walk is. Also if there is more than one bar where we can get food and a drink. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there. My family and I recently stayed at the Bahia Secrets Hotel in Corralejo. Whilst we we there I gave my daughter a gift to celebrate her A level results. It was a small pack with three bracelet charms. She left it behind at the hotel but we made contact and the hotel have the pack. The only problem is that it will cost at least £60 to get this sent to me in the UK. The charms only cost £80! So, I thought I would ask this forum to see if anyone is able to help please? Do you or do you know anyone who can help, who is staying at the hotel or may live nearby and is soon to fly back to the UK? Who could pick up the pack from the hotel and bring it back? It is only 5 x 5 cm and weight nothing. You can open it up and see it is just three little charms. I would rather reimburse someone for the kind help than pay DHL £60!!! please let me know if you can help ? Thanks

Hi All,
Used Autoreisen and PlusCar countless times over the years. This time considering Payless and would like to hear from anyone with experience of them. Just want the same as my usual two, reliable decent car, no payment at booking, no hidden extras, no hard sell on the insurance upgrades, no withholding funds on my credit card, and simply return the tank as I find it.
Anyone care to comment on how Payless compares to my usual two ?
Cheers,
Mouse
