Corralejo and Gran Tarajal CarnivalEvents from today are postponed as a prevention measure, as the Gobierno of the Canary Islands have said that there shouldn't be gatherings of more than 1,000 people, inside or outside.
All Third Division Football matches have been postponed for 2 weeks ( this affects Union Puerto and Gran Tarajal)

As the schools and after school clubs will be closed for the next 15 days that will take it up to the 27 March. There is then only one more week before schools break up for Semana Santa (Holy Week) which leads up to Easter Sunday.
I can't imagine that they will start back for that one week.

Not sure how correct the information is but I’ve just been told the cruise ship in Puerto Rosario has not been allowed to dock due to a person onboard having Coronavirus!
Anyone know anymore ?

I believe Spain has banned cruise ships from docking in any of its ports - Cruise Ship Announcement

The cruise ship that is currently in Puerto is leaving for Gran Canaria this afternoon. It is then easier for passengers to fly back to their country of origin.

Well it was docked when we were in Rosario an hour ago, whether they have let anyone disembark is another matter.
