Announced within the last hours a restriction on flights from the Peninsula. 1 per day from Madrid, now.
Must have a valid reason to travel, such as habitual residence or work. A record will be kept of travellers and reasons provided.
I guess it goes some of the way to address the concerns raised about the virus being imported from Madrid.

Possibly there was something else involved that wasn’t seen on the video as when they had him on the ground there was another cyclist 20 yds away that they didn’t even look at 🤔

First video seems to indicate the policeman asked him to stop, and he kept going.
Police gave chase and he continued, leading to a more severe response.
He has a very distinctive appearance and the article states he is being treated for mental illness, so may be previously known to
Police in the area.
Sadly, I think we are going to see a lot of people with poor mental health really suffering from this crisis as their usual supports will not be as available.

Correos are still delivering parcels, I had 2 arrive today. Postie rang doorbell, he had gloves on, and then retreated several metres. When I appeared he asked me to call out my NIE which he entered on tablet, I didn't have to sign tablet like normal, he then placed parcels on floor and reminded me to wash my hands after handling them.

Latest health reports in U.K. saying peak looks like 10 to 14 wks away. So Fuerte probably on similar time scale. Going to be a long ugly haul ☹️☹️
